Claire, it means they bid, and then decided to up their original bid. The amount doesn't go up because they can't bid against themselves, but it goes down as two bids.

I was told at work today I looked like a 'rocker' and a 'hell's angel'. :huh: I was like.......I must be the least hell's angel looking person ever!!

For work I was wearing black flat pointy shoes, black trousers, a 2 in 1 top/jumper which is black/white chiffon patterned sleeves/collar with a black 'tanktop' style jumper bit. Can't quite see the Hell's Angel in that?!
