Are we getting devious?

I don't understand how entering codes late at night for 24 hour draws increases your chances of winning? I thought the winner would be picked at random. Does this mean they usually pick the last code entered that day?

A lot of comps will pick say one winner an hour (not 'on average one person wins an hour'). Probably for ones where codes are the same and not where it's unique codes. If 1000 people enter between say 1-2pm, there might only be 100 enter between 3-4am.

My take on it anyway! Could be wrong, but it kinda makes sense to me.

PS just re-read the '24' hour bit so my reply doesn't really fit - unless they draw 24 winners over a day for something at the end of a day and each winner's won from a certain hour's slot. Ho hum, just ignore me lol!

I couldn't live off comping its doesn't pay that well. Its unfair to say compers are devious, some maybe but I am not. I only have one mobile and only enter what I want to win or possibly sell. I don't buy loads of Pespi, McCoys or McVities etc to win stuff just the odd one if i feel like it.

Gutted no-one saw the vanialla extract comp!

I believe in comping karma and you have got to be in it to win it.
