blooming Virgin another £1 a month

Just got this from Virginmedia
We’re writing to let you know about a change to your monthly bill. Now that eBilling is our main billing option, we won’t be offering our £1 discount from 1st October. But don’t forget, there’s still a £1.25 charge for customers who choose to have paper bills, so you’ll carry on saving £1.25 a month – and a few trees too.

Just got the same, and started spitting feathers.
Good job I had already decided to ditch their service subject to my new o2 Broadband being connected by the end of the week.
Can't say I'll miss the poor customer service that VM offer. My farts hospitalize small children

To be honest if you hadn't mentioned the extra £1 a month i'd never have noticed. Not worth anyone losing any sleep over it though. If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.0

:rotfl:And I wouldn't touch BT with a 100 foot barge pole never mind a 10 foot one.
Almost certainly there are cheaper BB providers out there, but cable BB has the edge round here over ADSL because I'd need a 20,000 foot barge pole to touch the exchange. 0.5 Mb? No thanks. The service I am getting is better than I can get from anyone else as I don't have a BT landline.
Edit: and while I'm in the mood for a bit of BT bashing, they have just been told to stick their 20 Mb adverts where the sun don't shine.0
