I too am a co-op fan, I keep a spreadsheet going and every morning check online and I find that works really well.

We will be staying with the co-op now.

As for Barclays, having experienced terrible services from 2 of their companies, Barclays Partner Finance and Barclaycard - both of whom we have had to report to higher authorities, Barclaycard because they have been phoning our no for 18 months looking for someone who does not live here and have not updated their records - 3x on Sunday!! I would not use Barclays for anything even if they were the last bank on earth - despicable.

I opened a cashminder 2 months ago and again found the staff so nice and helpful. The online banking isn't as fancy as others but at the moment it is the best I could hope for! Will definitely be staying on with them!
Finally getting my life on track. Onwards and upwards.

  • Yes I've just opened up last week - and although not a penny has been in the account until I get paid on Friday (I think this may be best day of my whole BR experience!) - Co-op have been amazing so far. My internet banking is all set up and ready to go already, just waiting for my card and pin number now and I can start to live normally again with my account being in credit - I never thought I'd see the day. And glad to see people are pleased with the service going forward. Just need some funds now!!
