Help with insurace-stolen car
Comments
-
They will probably be confirming with the manufacturer that the key is the relevant key for the locks fitted to your specific car, Insurers tend to like everything confirmed in writing so they may wait for written confirmation from the manufacturer.
I'm surprised the car has not turned back up yet as this type of car is generally stolen to get friends home from a night out or sometimes for the parts. If it does turn up it can often make the claim easier as the Insurers can then see how the car was stolen eg hot wired0 -
the police were surprised the car not turned up as well. they explained it is a much easier process for insurance etc. Well thats just my luck then, nothing simple in my life!!
thanks for all your help :j Ill let you know how it goes.0 -
It may be that Kia Sedonas cannot be hot wired easily, hence the investigation into the keys?
It's not as if a 2002 Sedona is a desirable vehicle to the car thief!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0
