Im a college lecturer. Also nurse but then did teaching qual. I love it. I teach 16-20 year old girls. I would never be a school teacher however. My hubby is and I think I've got best option.
Lots of pros. e.g. never a dull day, always have a laugh, varied job, holidays good,
Not many cons- however- tiring, planning at home, OFSTED inspections.Egg April 10 £6600 Jan £4678 now £0

I am SO angry the TDA have cut all the training for the support workforce - all this talk about not a REAL teacher doesnt help - if you help children to learn then you are doing a worthwhile job!0
