Can you really wax beard hair? Seems like that would do more damage that creams :/

Hmmm, you could be right, couldn't find much on it on a google search. Does make me wonder though as there is a condition called PCOS which can mean women develop facial hair (chin hair being one example) I know that for many sufferes its a hard aspect of the condition to deal with as they have posted on the boards before. Not sure what they do to deal with this- it could be worth a forum search, but know that many women suffer with this and try hard to deal with it.

Just thought waxing as this is how they used to do my eyebrowns before threading came in. (Threading is removing the hair with two threads criss crossing each other). Don't think threading would work for beard hair though as it takes longer then waxing and takes a while to build up your pain threshold for it. But it is more gentle to the skin.

If you do decide to try the creams, take a small stamp sized amount, test it first, if it burns STOP- this stuff has left me with 2nd degree burns before so you really gotta be careful as you don't feel a great deal of pain, just tingling. It hurts more 10-15 mins after you have rinsed it all off.

I don't think so, although the coarseness of the hair and sensitivity of the skin would make this a painful experience. Repeated waxing may make the skin lose its elasticity, you could end up jowly!
