    I wish you alot of luck with your battle and its a really good thing that you are now facing it head on.

    The other posters so far have offered alot of good advice and so mine is only a little more.

    It sounds like you would really benefit from keeping a spending diary or spreadsheet. This way both of you could keep a track of where your 'extra' money is going and so pay more off your debts.

    I know when I started mine, and like many others on here, found that it changed my attitude to what I spent and helped alot.

    Also, I would get rid of the sky - after all, if you re going to be in the gym and cooking your food from scratch to save money, you re not going to have much time to spend in front of the tv!! Honestly, you really wont miss it when its gone.
