if you dont have the info some ask you for size of house(ie how many bedrooms)and number of occupants0

As woodbine says, most sites have a form of estimator built into them, this should at least give you some idea of what savings you may be able to make, try to use the more detailed estimator, one that asks the size of property, how you heat, how many people live there etc..
Anything the site throws up will be cheaper than your current offering as when you first move in you are put onto the standard tariff paying quarterly (ie the most expensive) until you instruct them otherwise..Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!
