Problem with ebay tonight

I have been trying to take advantage of the 5p listing day today although have had no success.
When I enter the email address of the paypal account when I am creating my lisitng and then click continue a page comes up saying that 'Email address cannot be used for paypal payments at this time'. I don't know why this would be the case as I have had no probelms using paypal recently, I have money in my account and no one has tried to do a charge back.
To find out what was wrong I tried to phone paypal but they ask for the telephone number of the account holder but when I enter it they say that they do not recognise the number, yet it is the same number which I can see whenever I view my profile on paypal.
Anyone know why this would be happening?

Thanks for the replies.
I managed to get through to paypal and spoke to a very nice person who went through all of my details and confirmed that there were no probelms with my paypal account. I have sent and recieved payments in the last couple of days and there have been no disputes started against me.
I emailed ebay last night to tell them about the problem so I will hopefully hear something back from them today. It is just so annoying because I wanted to take advanatge of the cheap listing day, but now I will not be able to through no fault of my own.0 -
I tried to take advantage of eBays free motors listing last weekend I tried listing my car and I would not allow me. It just told me there was an error in the listing, I am a power seller with over 300 feedback and know how to list items as I do on a regular basis. I e-mailed ebay and still have not had a responce.0

I listed a digital mp3 player last night for the 5p fees with buy it now.. I received a bought item notification within an hour..
then receive the 'your item has been listed' 2 hours later...

Ah. I have just discovered that I only have the problem if I select 'Require immediate payment.' I only wish that I had discovered this last night.0
