Santander e saver website problem

I just opened my ebanking account page and tried to open an esaver online. I clicked the button and got a banner telling me the rate was 2.75%, then I clicked through to open the account with annual interest and the next screen showed a table giving the rate as 2.5%.
I contacted the helpdesk and eventually it transpired this was a mistake on the site.
If they can't get these kind of back-office processes right, and checked it makes you really scared about their ability to get other stuff right. Integrating all the societies they now run will be a very rocky road.
On the positive side the ebanking helpdesk was really good on the couple of times I contacted them. They are better than the other telephone systems and contacts I tried sorting out other issues with Santander.
