Is this free cover as good as any other standard European cover which can be bought from insurance companies?

If your 'problem' when in Europe is classed as an 'Emergency' then the majority of Travel insurance Packages require you to use your EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) for any treatment before they will get involved, so before you travel if you haven't got the EHIC Card then you need to apply and a quick search via Google will lead you to the right place.0
