SeeTickets lost my leeds ticket

I bought 2 weekend tickets for the leeds festival. I bought them in March, they have left it til the last minute to dispatch their tickets and I've been left in deep doo doo because they only sent me 1 ticket which arrived on friday.
I have sold the tickets off to my mates because I decided I'd rather go abroad than to the festival,
I rang their customer service on friday to tell them I only have one ticket and I was promised a call back today (monday) which hasnt happened, and I called them a minute ago and they said I was due for a call back tomorrow.
I want a refund as I've given my friend their money back because I really don't know whats going on with SeeTickets customer service.
They say on their website and telephone recorded message that they do not provide the service of cancellations or refunds.
The guy said on friday that I can pick up a new ticket at the box office in leeds but I was getting a lift to the festival late on the friday night. so I think that option isnt fair at all as I'm 100 miles from Leeds as it is.
What are my rights?

Unfortunately you have made a bit of an error here....you can never (very rarely if ever!) get refunds on festival tickets. The only time you can get a refund is if the event is cancelled.
So, from my experience, there are only two things you can do:
1. Risk selling the ticket on again and asking the buyer to pick up the ticket from the box office, however they will need to say they are you and provide ID for you, so unless its someone you know/trust, don't bother.
2. Travel up, pick up the ticket yourself and sell it to a tout on the door for a quarter of the price. Possibly sell to someone on ebay (for quite a premium as it is sold out) travel with them to collect the ticket etc and give it to them/explain to doorperson that the ticket is for them and make sure they put the wristband on that person!
Either way, if you want to see your money you will have to collect the ticket and then do something with it.
Alternatively you could just go to the festival! Line up is ok this year.0 -
There's still plenty of time for them to send the ticket to you via special delivery, so they haven't broken their T&Cs.
It's normal to send things out at the last minute, as it discourages people to sell them on for profit, as they won't have them in their hands until the last minute.
Phone again and INSIST they send you the ticket in the post. Tell them that you and the other person are travelling separately, so you need to be able to physically give the other person their ticket, as you'll be arriving too late to go and pick the other one up, and they can't collect it as it's in your name.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
