Went over to British gas a couple of months ago. Had been with them a few years ago and had a bad time. Vowed never to go back. However i found out on this site that they were the cheapest so decided to give them another try. Change over no problem but i did have a couple of issues which they dealt with right away, so far so good. I then asked to set my direct debit a week later as everything seemed to be coming out of the bank at the same time. Replied by email and post, yes that was fine we've set it up. Came the date and they took the money out on the original date. I was quite angry as thought "here we go again " so emailed a strong letter to them.
Had a phone call today from a very nice lady apologising profusely and promised it had been set up now. Also BG has give me £35 for my trouble. Good result and it seems they really have changed for the better.:D And up to now their prices are a lot cheaper
