GE Money and the Funding Network

Hello all

I wonder if anyone has two minutes they could kindly give me some advice on my PPI reclaim?

Five years ago when I was young and unbelievably naive, I took out a secured consolidation loan with GE Money, arranged by the Funding Network. I did not even realise I had PPI on it until GE Money wrote to me a few months ago to say the five year PPI period was up.

So I have begun the reclaiming process and sent off my questionnaire to GE Money, who have replied saying they are not liable as they did not sell me the loan and I need to pursue the Funding Network. They have forwarded my claim to the Funding Network, from whom I have heard nothing.

Is this true - do I now have to turn my fire to the Funding Network? Has anyone got any experience of these folks? I have checked on Companies House and they are still trading.

Any advice would be very welcome. Many thanks in advance. :)

Zarry

    Hi Zarry & welcome

Yes that is correct, whoever set up and sold you the policy are the ones responsible.

Hope you hear soon with some good news, maybe you could contact/write to them just to make sure they've received your complaint.:)

  • Hello Di

Many thanks for taking the time to respond to me. I will do as you suggest and drop the Funding Network a line asking them to confirm receipt.

I'll let you know the outcome :)
