Upgrade DVD player?

Hi
I have a really cheap, but useful DVD player. The make is RED. bought from Tesco or Sainsburys. I would not think it is capable of being a multi region player but thought I would ask.if not, any recommendations on a suitable but cheap multi region player?

I found in the past that the cheap ones are more likely to be multi-region and support a wider range of DVD+-R media. To make the DVD player multi-region you very often need to put in a key code into your remote control. Just google for it.

Do you have the model number of the DVD player?

Without a region code it's difficult to give an exact answer, but you could try this:
( found at dvdreviewer.co.uk )

- Power on
- Open tray
- Enter 2812
- Press enter repeatedly until 9 appears in the Region display
