How did you get into Uni writing like that?
I bought all my course books from ebay.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
I've used this site in the past to compare prices
http://books.scrounge.it/index.a.html
Always check your local stores though. A few books have been cheaper for me.0 -
These 2 websites don't have many academic books, but there are some, so may be worthwhile searching:
https://www.listbooks.co.uk
https://www.greenmetropolis.co.uk0 -

Get them out now, before the rush, and start taking notes. Use your local library too. Also, don't just use books on the book list. This is your 3rd year and you should be reading far wider. I find it much easier to use books that aren't on the book list as not as many people are after them. You also get better marks!0 -
At the end of the year I sold a load of my text books for half price, having bought them for half price at the beginning of the year. Try checking the department/uni intranet for adverts.0

Hi
I have used Tesco (free delivery for spend over £20 - usually despatched after 1 day) and the book depository. They tend to be much cheaper than amazon.0
