It could be potentially expensive to send back, but if many others are happy with them then it sounds like all should be fine.
If there is a small problem, it might be easier to fix/repair etc than send it back anyway if its a small issue.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I agree Percy1983.
I emailed someone from the UK who had bought the same pram and asked them about customs charges and she said she never had to pay anything when it arrived at her house. So feeling a little better about going for it now and possibly getting a better bargain than I thought.:heart2:My gorjus twinnies are 2 years old:heart2:

Of course I believed everyone on the posts here
I emailed the buyer first thing this morning before I posted on here, I would have taken the word of the MSEs well before I took the word of an outsider

Glad to hear that you won't have to pay tax on it, see I told you I didn't know about Germany
Re the postage if you had to send it back though, that would be very expensive, much more than the £20 they are charging you. I don't know how they do it for that price, perhaps they have a deal with a courier firm? I think you'd be hard put to send it within the UK for that amount. Anyway, that's just all worse case scenario, there needn't be a problem and as Percy1983 said, you'd probably be better off getting it repaired or whatever than trying to return it.
Good luck with the auction then, hope you get it for your twins (assuming that's who you want it for)
Oh, silly me, just reread your tagline, of course the twins don't need a pram, this is for baby 3 isn't it?0 -
Something the size of a baby merc would cost about £45 to send tracked. I know because I sent one to France. If it is half price, it's a no brainer. Buy it.0

I would be inclined to do that in this instance. Email them, they are usually good at answering. They gave me percentage figures. There are two things to pay and one is the percentage of the first two things added together which made it a bit dearer. Also what they don't tell you (nothing to do with them I suppose) is that the Royal Mail charge you for collecting the money. I think I paid about £8 for that bit alone and they wanted about the same again if you wanted it delivered on a Saturday!
As I say, I don't have experience of buying things from Germany but are you sure you want the hassle?
dont know where you get that from
no such service exists in RM0 -
Fridayschild yeah this is for baby 3
Just trying to save as much money as possible at the minute especially with the twins, the new baby, Christmas and moving house all adding to things to spend money on!!
I just wanted to come on and thank everyone for all their help this afternoon and to let you all know that I won my pram for £300 including postage!! so almost 75% off what I would have paid in the UK!
Thanks again everyone
