In a bit of bother and totally non-techie. Since last night, been having Security Tool Warnings coming up on screen and can't get rid of them. Run a quick scan through windows defender and all coming up clear.
May have something to do with a page that wouldn't be opened by my PC (some company on the low spend board).
Wants me to buy security tool and has symbols at the bottom of the page but not showing as a programme I can remove. Keeps giving me dire warnings about 38 infections! Help!

Prob the easiest solution right now is to do a System Restore to a time when you knew the PC didn't have this problem. Google 'System Restore (and your operating system)' to find out how to do it.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

sounds to me like a scam/malware prog running in background 'you have a million infections click here now' in a word don't it will offer a soloution for a price whatever you do don't easiest free soloution is download malwarebytes on this link once installed click update tab update to latest verison then click scanner tab run full scan then at end will get rid of all of it provding is malware. also would suggest updating your antivirus and running full scan also.

Thanks everyone. Wouldnt let me do a system restore then my system closed down. Opened up in safe mode then managed to do a system restore which fortunately shifted it. Was a spoolsk.exe (whatever that means) - sure it came from this website that I got from the low spend board.
Anyway, alls well now, thanks again. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

The chances that a system restore has completely cleaned your computer of problems is pretty low:idea:0
