I have saved loads of money at MFI too! Just got my 4 year old son a new bed - with a slide on it! I only paid £30 as the rest of it was paid for by my Deals Vouchers :money:

I hate to see people in Tesco paying for their shopping with Clubcard Vouchers - 'don't do it!' I want to shout :o :rotfl:

  • Have a read of Martin's article here and it explains about loyalty cards such as your Tesco card.
  • Great to hear about your excellent voucher performance, moo moo ! :T

However, after reading MSE's page about loyalty cards/Tesco Clubcard, and after checking again Tesco's Clubcard mini-website, I don't see how you did manage to convert your TESCO vouchers in MFI vouchers - without even considering you got four times their value as if it was a Clubcard Deal.:cry:

Would you mind helping there at all, on where you've clicked on Tesco's website to obtain that result ? That would be great ! :T

    Thanks

I do spend all my vouchers on Christmas food. I don't want a day out, or furniture, or stuff. I just want to know i can get all my family's food and drink for Christmas. So far we have £90!!

This OP was back in 2006! MFI have since stopped their deal with Tesco, so you cannot convert to MFI tokens anymore.

  • If that deal is not longer on, that's the Christmas MoneySaving page that needs an update as it's advertised in the latest MSE email.
  • I use my vouchers to go to Butlins!! We went last year and got a deal for a caravan on ebay which was great (paid £500) and stayed on the 'other side' of the camp and really wished we could have stayed in one of the chalets which are right in the middle of all the action, but we found out the same break would cost us over £1000. I think found out that we could convert to Butlins vouchers so last year I took the plunge and booked our holiday for this year (this coming October) with the belief that I would pay off what I could with my vouchers. Well guess what, we go next month, holiday is all paid for and guess how much it cost me in actual cash! £150 :-) The rest I paid for over the year with my vouchers. Okay so I know I shop at lot at Tesco as we have a big family, but I have saved alot more money buying butlins vouchers than I would have if I'd just used them in Tesco :-) You can even sell them on ebay for twice the price, if you don't want to use one of the deals available :-) Take care, Laura x
