Click on start/my computer and place the mouse curser over the drive icons- will say how big/how much free.

Hopefully the same as it was 14 minutes ago............:rotfl:

Assuming you use windows/or maybe it may be linux/or Mac OS (or whatever Jobs says about iOS today)
    1) Open the box(the big one holding the Hard drive inside it) and use a ruler/tape to measure
    2) Do it more often
Sorry, has been ages since I last did it
and follow the suggestion in 1) on tools to measure.
Or maybe right click on the (My)Computer Icon on your desktop and select explore and look for disk drives and right click on each of them and select properties :D

The other replies are not 100% correct. There could be still other partitions on your hard disk, which are not visible in the explorer.

Go to Start -> Run and type in diskmgmt.msc

This gives you an overview about all your hard disks and their partitions.

If it's linux ??? No flame wars though , yours won't work in this case:cool:. Plus despite what the Operating system says and what the manufacturer says are totally non-compatible in terms of disk sizes :D

Ok, under Linux just execute "sudo fdisk -l |grep Disk" in a terminal. :p

The difference between what the OS says and what the manufacturer says comes from using different units. One uses GiB and one uses GB...

Or you could hit the Windose key and 'R' and type diskmgmt.msc.
Or you could right click on My Computer>Manage>Disk Management.....
Or you could go to Control Panel Admin tools...
