Lloyds TSB Premier Current Account

We never considered a 'pay' bank account until we bought our own home.

As well as the usual mobile cover / aa membership / card protection / travel perks it also has 'home emergency cover'

We used this for the first time today and I just wanted to say how please we were with them!

Called them at about 4pm - they sent an emergency plumber round.
No call out charge, no charge for parts or labour! (this is up to £1k, they will also cover a hotel stay / transport if damage is severe)

We still have to call the insurance people tomorrow to sort out the 'long term' damage - but they couldn't have been better for us today, really took a lot of the worry away that a home emergency brings.

Thanks Lloyds TSB.
