Hi All,
What difference does it make to benefits if you work 15 hours a week or if you work 16 hours or more a week?
Does it make any difference to HB and CTB?
Any advice gratefully received.

The only difference it would make is your income would go up/down, but depending on wether you are single or in a relationship, have children or not, or your age, the 1 hour extra can give you entitlement to working tax credits.0

If you work 16 you will be entitled to more help and free presciptions etc. Probably wont make much difference to hb and ctb.0

Why is that then? Free prescriptions are based on income and not hours.debtfreenewbie wrote: »If you work 16 you will be entitled to more help and free presciptions etc. .:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
