What are you all having for favours?

As a wedding gift to our friends, we are making them brownies in celeophane tied with ribbon in their colour scheme for favours. One for all the adults. I think they another friend is doing the same for the kids but with sweeties.

Were not having favours, as most people don't want to take trinkets home that they won't use and I don't se any point if they're not actually a personal reminder of our wedding.

Must admit I really hate some of the generic things that seem fashionable at the moment they're just so impersonal.

I do like some handmade ideas, or if you are going to buy something then supporting a charity is a nice idea.

Are you any good at baking? You could maybe bake cookies for each setting and ice them in your colourscheme. You could even get some of that edible gold dust to brush over them for a bit of sparkle!

We are sticking with tradition, so having 5 chocolate dragees in a handcrafted box for 'Health, Wealth, Happiness, Long Life and Fertility' I know it's meant to be sugared almonds but I dont like them!

For our wedding favours we are planning to use decorated fortune cookies, which we are going to double up as place cards with the supplied tags ( search on ebay and you'll see what i mean)

I think Im having the pillows with chocolates in them and a ribbon tied round matching my colour scheme. I keep changing my mind!
