PC Advisor and Fujitsu Siemens Computers have teamed up to offer two lucky readers the chance to win an AMILO Pi 1505 notebook - awarded "PC Advisor Best Buy" as reviewed in last month’s magazine.
The AMILO Pi 1505 gives the perfect blend of features and performance whilst not compromising on portability. Featuring a powerful Intel Core Duo T2050 CPU running at 1.6GHz backed up by a hefty 1Gb of DDR2 RAM, the AMILO is more than capable of running most applications you choose to throw at it!
Sporting a super clear 15.4" WXGA display with Crystalview technology, you can also be sure that DVDs, Internet pages or games stand out in their true colours. You can even connect the notebook to your home TV with the S-Video out port (cable not supplied) to watch DVDs in total comfort.
Use the 4-in-1 card reader to quickly transfer all your digital images from your SD/MS/MMC or MS Pro storage cards. Power DVD and Nero Burning ROM 6 accompany the integrated multi layer DVD/R/W drive for DVD playback and DVD or CD burning.
To top it all off - the AMILO Pi 1505 comes complete with integrated Intel 802.11bg wireless, 56Kbps modem and onboard LAN so you're ready to connect to the Internet however you want, whenever you want.
Question:In which issue did the MILO Pi 1505 notebook win a PC Advisor Best Buy award?
Answer: August 2006
Good Luck

This has been posted before
, & the answer is October 2006
:
"PC Advisor and Fujitsu Siemens Computers have teamed up to offer two lucky readers the chance to win an AMILO Pi 1505 notebook - awarded "PC Advisor Best Buy" in October’s magazine." - from half-way down this page.
In PCA magazine terms (& many other mags), 'last month' was October.
If you've answered it wrong, don't worry because you can register again with a different username (possibly email address too) & enter again. G

As usual nothing came up in the search....
but excuse me for being a bit dim????, "awarded "PC Advisor Best Buy" as reviewed in last month’s magazine" how is last month Octobernow I know magazines sometimes come out with a date a month ahead of them, but that would mean it would be September's issue (and yes me answer would be wrong still )
common sense to me and a lot of other people would be that last month was August :rolleyes:0 -
In PCA terms this month is November.
They want one to look for the answer/buy the mag I'd imagine. But the answer can be got for much less hassle & for free: if you're registered at the site, all you need to do is ask in the forum & someone will hopefully post the correct answer, G

Well thats just a little daft if you ask me!!
But apologies for those that entered my part of the comp, not being a techiehead or belonging to any of these sites/forums I just used my common sense for the answer...hey I only post the comps:D0 -
Most magazines are a month (or two) out of sync anyway. If you see http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/magazine/coverdisc/ the November issue is on sale 15th September so the answer should be October.
Isn't it now obvious why Easter eggs will be in the shops on January 15th............ ?0
