Tweezers - Search for the perfect pair

A few years back I bought a pair of "Red" tweezers from Boots. They were nothing special and not expensive but they worked a treat. Now they are blunt I have tried to find replacements but the "Red" brand ones I got this time round are nowhere near as good. They dont seem to be as wide.
Anybody got a recommendation of where I can get some decent tweezers, before i start looking like Dennis Healey crossed with a bearded lady

Tweezerman, you can get mini ones in their own little case which work really well and you can send them off to get them sharpened:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I second (or third!) Tweezerman. Expensive but they will re-sharpen them for you for free. I also think you may as well spend a little on something you use so often.
Ruby & Millie do a nice one too. Often reduced at Boots."I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -

I use automatic tweezers. They look a bit different but I find they work a treat and are much less painful. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

Tweezerman. I have a bright pink pair bought from Boots. Expensive but worth every penny.0

Well now you see i HAVE a pair of Tweezerman tweezers but they are very very sharp and pointed as they are for removing ingrown hairs. However, I have hardly used them as I find they make more of a mess of the situation

How can I decide WHICH Tweezeman model I need if I buy online? I dont recall ever seeing them in Boots.Ellie

Definitely Tweezerman,
I use the travel size set - two pairs, one slanted and one pointed, come in a handbag friendly pouch
Does anyone have the address to send them to get sharpened? I have an old pair which I accidentally dropped and bent the point.0 -
I use one from a brand called QVS, available in Superdrug and Asda I believe. Does a good job of what its supposed to do, and its about 2-3£.
Haven't got tweezerman so can't compare, plus the feeling isn't that bad if you lose a £3 tweezer compared to an expensive one;)0
