Thanks searching me and Berni888 for your support, as you rightly said Berni888 got lots of "support" from family. Totally expected, I would have done exactly the same probably.

Just to cheer you all up, this week for me so far:
Sunday - Oven fire (as you all know);
Monday - 42 mile journey instead of 17 (one way) to work due to incompetent work men deviating me all over the bl**dy country!
Tuesday - on short cut home, car starts banging like it did when I killed the last engine. So left it 20 miles away and got darling sister to come and collect me, don't quite know how I'll get to work tomorrow, or even if my local garage will go and pick it up. May have to drive it until it does break down and then call aa.
What a day - wonder what tomorrow will bring (I daren't think)!
Take care one and all. :A0 -
wow mep thats a run of bad luck .. :coffee: for you ..

Well my change pots are growing and my spending shrinking! I have sorted all my winter stuff and i need some clothes- Primark here i come! I've got a couple of MS projects on the go- painting my (very well made, expensive!) chest of drawers. Its 14 years old and needs a makeover! I'm ashamed to admit that it cost £600 and the thought of spending that now makes me sick! However if you think of it as cost per use its actually cheap!!!!! My DD2 needs new school skirts. My SIL had given us my nieces old ones and she wore them up til May half term when swapped to summer uniform and fitted fine. Put one on today and skims her bum! So annoying!! Need to buy a birthday present but apart from that its essentials only. I actually have money in the bank!! Worked out i don't need to shop for another week- just fruit,bread,ham and milk. Hope everyone is well and getting back into the school routine.I love it....need that routine! xxxxxIf music be the food of love then play on"No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow". ღ ~Maya AngelouDoing it for my kids. natty well done you're doing so great .. ive spent the day cleaning and baking and have planned the next 4 days worth of dinner which considering a couple of weeks ago it was make what you could find in the freezer or i'll pop to sainsburys on the way home (usually the latter) .. this saving money lark is really helping with my diet as well im doing my 3rd 5k run this week tomorrow (she says hoping) .. i need clothes but im putting it off to either xmas or when im dier need of them .. once again probably the latter ... ooo and more money saving .. me and OH have been talking about xmas and we're downsizing for the kids (had originally planned on spending £200 for DD as its her birthday 3 days before and £100 on DS) but only getting 1 big present and either small/handmade presents and stocking for the rest and each other we're only getting one thing and as i already have mine we're just getting his and the leftover money we had originally planned is going on the food shop
.. im on major planning mode

Thanks searching me, really needed that hug in a mug. Perfect. You obviously know what a girl needs at a time like this.
Just to let you know, today has gone well so far, and as I'm off to go and relax on the sofa am not imagining anything bad to happen. Big hugs to all. Have a great day tomorrow. x :j0
