Bike broken within a week. How should I deal with this?

Ds got a new bike last Sunday and already the chain has come off 5 or 6 times and the wheel has slightly buckled. Ds is a plodder and rides a bike a bit like an old man so it certainly hasn't been mistreated.
Now, this is the problem. DH took the bike back to Halfords this morning and they replaced the buckled wheel from an ex display model that was on sale. Now that we've looked at it again the gears on the replaced wheel are not right as they seem to wobble as the wheel goes round and now the rear breaks aren't working!
I am worried that because DH accepted a repair this morning we have blown the chance of getting the complete bike replaced.
How should we continue from here please?
The bike is also covered by the Nationwide 100 day purchase protection plan.
TIA

You have to give the retailer the opportunity to resolve the issue so take the bike back and ask them to inspect the brakes.0

The rear cassette wobbling is quite normal on low end bikes. Take it back and get the brakes sorted. What size wheel is it ?0

Which is in essence a resolution of the issue. I wasn't referring to the product but the OP's reference to a PPP.0 -

The wheel is 26''.
The cassette is wobbling on the replacement wheel even before it has been used by DS!
Will I be given a refund if I ask for one?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:: rotfl:

Noooooooo, don't go asking Freddie any serious questions, especially not at this time on a Sunday. He will have been in Brenda with the dog and duck - oh wait, no, no, that should be in the Dog and Duck with Brenda!!!!0 -
Hi there,
If you have no luck with the local store, please contact customer.services[at]halfords.co.uk and they will be able to help with your enquiry.
Hope this helps.0
