I have just bought a xbox 360 :j and have managed to set it up with my laptop so i can get the media off my laptop, but when i try to setup a network to get on the internet there is a problem as the laptop says there is limited or no connectivity and when i click repair it says that it could not renew the ip address. Any suggestions to what is wrong or needs to be done.

have you tried to just connect the 360 thru the modem,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

You need to give more information on your setup, e.g.
Is it cable or ADSL?
Are you using a router?
How are you connecting your laptop and XBox 360?
What OS is on your laptop?0 -
Are you on a router? We need to know more about your setup. At a wild guess though, your XBOX is asking for a DHCP address and your router either isn't giving one or isn't set up for DHCP0

it is adsl, i have a wireless router and connect to my laptop with a ethernet cable
