my parents have had their renewal for home insurance, and because there has been 3 claims within the last 3 yrs the price has more than doubled. They're both retired and dont have alot of income. I have gone onto the internet and still the price is very expensive, rang brokers like RIAS, Swinton and each say they cant cover because there is 3 claims!!!
I have reduced the cover of the building as they dont need £1million rebuilding cover. Pay the premium in full through those that add a premium on for paying monthly, but cant think of anything else.
Can anyone offer any guidance please.
