Hope someone can help. My PC is struggling and I think it may be time to get a new one.
I like the traditional word, excel etc and really only use my PC for word processing and the internet. I currently have Windows ME and it is struggling with certain things. I am not all that knowledgeable re: all this computer lark!
My printer has long dies and my moniter is enormous and takes up most of the desk! Guess I'm looking for desktop, printer and monitor - can anyone recommend a good deal?
Also what's the best way of getting saved documents from one machine to the other and how should I dispose of the old stuff?
Thank you!

Have a look here, www.dmxdimension.com and see what takes your eye and fits your budget.
You may want to consider a laptop if space is at a premium.
I guess you wont have vast amounts of data to transfer so I'd suggest using a USB memory stick (Assuming you have usb ports on your present machine.
Bets way to dispose of the old machine when you have got all your data off, is to open it up, remove the hard drive and hit it hard with a heavy hammer, then off to the tip.
You can buy the latest version of Microsoft office, but in your case you would do just a well with OpenOffice which is a free download. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
