best joint ccount for bill payments

Hi,
My partner and I both have our own A&L account which our wages get paid into, we also have a joint account with BOS which we each pay a set amount into each month to pay bills, buy food etc.
At ther moment this joint account is rubbish, high o/d interest, low credit interest, however the best current account seems to be the a& l one which we both already have. I spoke to them a while ago about this and the account they offered us had a high interest rate for overdrafts, I've had a look about and the a&l rate seems to be the best by far, hopefully we shouldn't be too overdrawn but I like to have abit extra there for unexpected bills, we also won't ever be that much in credit as most of our bills are paid immediately after the money goes in.
Any suggestions to an account?
Thanks

Yes, A&L authorised overdraft rates are the lowest ATM. AFAIK the next one is Nationwide with 7.75% ...0
