Pet insurance scandal

My Halifax Pet Insurance premium has gone up by 100% on renewal in September. Obviously it has gone up because I have claimed twice for my elderly cat in the last policy year but is it reasonable to pay double?
What would anyone suggest I do to reason with them:mad:?

You probably won't like it, but would a younger and healthier cat be the answer?0

How old is your cat?0

i would hardly call it a scandal you have claimed twice in a year and your cat is old so the chances are high that you will claim again#
