Expanding Foam

Options
Can I drill into expanding foam and use a rawlplug?
Or will it just break up?

Rawlplugs work by expanding and wedging against the inside of the hole you've drilled. If the hole itself is expanding (as foam would) then it simply won't grip and will fall out with very little effort.
  • yes you're right, I did a test and it wouldn't hold for very long.
I will have to revert to doing a proper job and replacing a section of the plasterboard.
