Hi All
Just happened upon this thread......wow interesting.
All I can say is I am new to Brighouse and was in the market for a new fireplace.
I had looked for a kitchen at Norwood Interiors (Brighouse) and saw this little shop saying that it sold fireplaces - so naturally I went in!!!

BIG MISTAKE ******

What an idiot - the guy treated me like I was stupid and really really talked down to me - and this is not a vent - this is the truth...... I didnt buy from them - I walked out.

It beggars belief in this age of austerity and hardtimes - that a company will treat a customer as they treated me - I really was not impressed - and by reading the above, it sounds like I made the best choice.

Thank you Boss Bengal - I have seen Artisan and I will call in to see them tomorrow and see if they can do any better - I will keep you all posted

ksara_6 i hope you are talking about directfireplaces being a big mistake, please don't buy from these. They have have closed down their shop in shipley, goto Wibsey fireplaces, house of fire or a shop that uses gas safe engineers. if the company was doing well it would not be closing down shops. Buy cheap buy twice.

Also take heed - when you google them they have 16 postive google reviews..... all reviewers appear to be American!

id just like to say that we have had two artisan fireplaces in the two houses we have lived in (this is a different shop to direct fireplaces!!!) and they have both been great i would really recommend them and i dont normally recommend people!!

dont get me started on norwood interiors though....... total rip off!!!
