i have had a quote off a plumber to fit some new appliances in my kitchen.
new sink, gas hob and washing machine.
all still in the exsiting place apart from the washing machine (moved about 2 foot away)
he has already done 1st fix (whatever that means
) i'm a woman and don't understand
he spent approx 3 hours doing that.
he is coming on monday to actually fit the appliances and said it will be £300 all in. im in the yorkshire area.
does this seem fair?
the plumber has done previous work for me before and has been very good.
i would just like someone else's opinion.
thanks in advance

plumbers are expenisve and that price is prob about right.
you should got a handyman in. those jobs dont require a plumber.
half the price.Get some gorm.0 -
Surely the gas hob requires a qualified plumber (gas safe)make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
In any event, no point in asking really, you got the quote, accepted it becuase he is doing the work.
Just pay up and enjoy what he has done.
And plumbers in Yorkshire run at about £30 an hour.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Sounds about right for a days labour over 2 visits, especially if vat is included.0
