Went to Leather Lane market today - a bit out of my way but worth it. Got 2 packs of 'Milky Way' covered raisins - each pack has 14 little boxes in it
for £1. Excellent value as DH can't eat brown chocolate  and so is always difficult to buy for! :T

Our local co-op had some large pies reduced to £1.49 from £2.99 and they were on BOGOF. So I thought '£1.49 for 2 pies isn't bad and they are freezable for 'emergency food'' (We usually have a bit of 'emergency food' in the freezer for those days close to payday).
So I went to the till with the pies and on the way I saw bread reduced to 20p a loaf and got a loaf.
When the assistant scanned the pies they came up at £2.98 for the two (2 at £1.49 each) and then deducted £2.99 for the BOGOF so I got paid 1p for taking the pies out of the shop. So with the 20p bread I paid 19p for a loaf and 2 large pies. The sales assistant looked completely baffled and couldn't work out how I had managed to get the three items for 19p but he just shrugged and packed them in a bag for me.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. I think I got some of the bargains of my life yesterday.
Asda were selling off all their back to school stuff so we got 32 HB pencils for 10p, 2 big disney princess books for 25p each and 5 little disney princess books for 15p. They also had Bratz pencil cases for 15p and loads of other bargains.May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -
Now me being a bloke was sent out earlier to get some bacon for breakfast by OH. I went to my local Rainbow (Coop) and instead came back with a 36 piece box of Shredded Wheat for just £1.85 (It was a box of 18 with 100% free) thats just 5p per biscuit.............. Did I do well??:T :T :T
Just being sent out again to get that bacon I forgot in my excitement
Man goes to the doc, with a strawberry growing out of his head.
Doc says "I'll give you some cream to put on it."
Tommy Cooper"Did you hear about the frog that broke down on the motorway???? They toad him away!"0 -
From Asda I bought 2 large packets of Mcvities chocolate biscuits for £1. (they are normally almost that for 1 packet) and I got 2 large packs of Cathedral City cheese for £3. That is less than half price. It was just on special offer. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Ooh yeah I forgot about the other asda bargains I got yest. They seem to have gone a bit mad at the moment. They had chicken tonight sauces 1 for £1.12 or 2 for £1, aero choc mousses 1 for £1. 30ish or 2 for £1. They had loads of offers where you got 2 for less than the price for 1, it all seemed a bit too good to be true but it all went through the til fine.May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080
