Hi all, I have just received my AE plat card this morning, am going to be using it for as much as poss, however, if I am refunded on an item, and the refund goes back onto the card, do I still earn the cashback??

No, as they work it out on the total monthly spend.
I guess its to stop the loophole of buying hundreds of pounds worth of stuff and then taking it back.0 -
No rebate is payable on...amounts subsequently re-credited to your account due to refunds...
