email client problem

If I click on the read mail icon on the tool bar (at the top of the page), I get the message;

"Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed."

Any idea what that means & how I rectify it.

What toolbar? What page? What browser?

Start the existing email client or install another one like Thunderbird and make it the default email client on your computer.
