Who claimed-named driver or policy hoder?

Hi guys!

Time to renew our car insurance and going through the comparison sites again! Currently we have 2 cars in a multi-car policy with admiral in my husbands name with me as a named driver on 1 car. He is going to sell his other car in a couple of months to get a company car so we are looking at changing companies to seperate policies as once his car has gone we will lose the discount on the 2nd car (hope you're still with me!). Now last year ihad an accident in the car and we claimed through insurance. When doing renewals is it the policy holder who claimed or would it be me as the named driver? If the named driver then does my husband not have to declare it on his other policy as i'm not named on that one?!

Aggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh please help!
Thanks for any advice.x

    1) On the policy you will not be covered on at all, then your husband will need to declare the claim.

    2) On the policy you are going on as a named driver, then it needs to be declared under your details whilst you remain on the policy (obviously just over the time span they ask about)

Thanks for the reply but am i missing something?! Surely it cant be both of our claims? It's either his as the policy holder or mine as the driver involved?! Why is it every year with car insurance i end up feeling like i'm stitched up what ever i do?!-Nothing to do with you-obviously, just car insurance companies, i dont seem to have any trouble with life ins, house ins, utilities etc just car insurance-Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Thanks again for replying
