Help,Lost CD codes to my office 2000

I have Microsoft office 200 premium, 2 disccs, but I have lost the cd codes to them both. I wondered if anyone knew a way I can get these so that I can install them?

    Do you still have it installed on a PC?

    If so, Belarc Advisor should be able to retrieve the key from the registry and display it for you.

    You should get the same result from Nir Sofer's ProduKey utility, which is more single-purpose.

    No I dont have it installed at the moment. I have another version of microsoft but wanted to put the new one back in, well its not that new. I have quite a few of these disks. But the pc keeps asking for the 2000 one, and when I went to put it in, alas I cant find the product code.

    Ah, that rather makes both our suggestions of little use!

    Stupid question, but you didn't write the code on the back of the CD sleeve, or something like that? Otherwise, that's it, I'm afraid.

    The product key is the most valuable thing you can have, since it's unique - you can copy the installation CDs from anywhere...
