Wedding Dress Factory Outlet

I went to the wedding factory outlet in burbage last week. It was very busy because it was half term so me and my bridesmaid just browsed to have a look at what was available.
I can only describe the shop as a jumble sale or primark. It felt like the episode of friends where they are looking for a dress.
I must admit, one of the shop assistants did quickly say hello when she passed me as she was busy with another bride. But i told her I was happy to have a look around myself.
We had looked at the majority in my size but decided to see what styles were in the size 8 + 10.
I was rudely approached by a younger shop assistant who asked me what size i retail at because I'm clearly not an 8/10. I told her I was just browsing but she sent me over to the other side because I'm clearly too fat for the ones i was browsing at.
She was not polite or friendly and she made me feel very uncomfortable as most brides would be if someone commented on their size.
I admit the dresses are cheap. But when you're spending any amount of money on your big day. you want to be greeted and spoken to politely.
I left the shop immediately and went to other shop in the area who have been fantastic!
Yes, the dresses are more expensive but I don't mind spending an extra few hundred pounds to have a friendly shop assistant.0 -
I went to the one in Bromley late last year. They were friendly and approachable, not pushing at all. I didn't find anything that stood out to me but they were patient and made good suggestions. They also let me take picture which was nice.Current debt: M&S £0(£2K) , Tesco £0 (£1.5K), Car loan 6K (paid off!) Barclaycard £1.5K (interest free for 18 months)0

I went to the Bolton one on a Thursday a few weeks back although it was busy it wan't too hectic.
I found my dress almost straight away (it was the 2nd one I tried on!) it can be overwhelming as there are so many to choose from, but it's worth it. Mine was £380 including the under skirt, I would have easily paid over a thousand for it elsewhere.
Once I purchased it the store had the dress 'tidied' up for me, added beads, secured the buttons and steamed it etc. It's perfect.Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

I want to go to the bromley one soon ( I drive past it all the time, it's about 10 minutes from my house) but I want to loose about 2 stone so don't feel I should go just yet0
