Please help. My browser keeps crashing.
I am using both Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Mostly Chrome. But for the past week now, both the browsers have been acting up and keeps crashing.
I have tried almost everything that I can find on the internet to solve the problem but they still persists.
I was hoping that I can get some fresh ideas here.
I would really appreciate it if anyone :A can give some suggestion on how to fix this.

Have you done a comprehensive check for malware - as described in the sticky at the top of the tech forum?
The reason I ask is that these days malware often intercepts the network stack, and if they do this badly it can adversely affect anything that requires network access - such as browsers.0 -
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM QUICK SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
If anything was found then do the exact same but run a FULL scan
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin):idea:0 -
What firewall and Antivirus are you using, Zonealarm and ABG combined caused my Browsers to crash and only a reboot could make them work again, which was a real pain when it happens randomly and could happen within a minute of the reboot.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740
