best mobile dongle?

Hi,

I need internet via dongle as I'm staying at a friends, I would like 250 hours a month of usage but dont want to have to get bt line then sign 24 month contract and all that blah then if i move house blah blah!

I've been searching for deals but cannot come up with anything more than 15gb per month.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

internet usage is sold in Gb, not hours.
15Gb might be more than enough for you if you're just browsing the internet, but it probably won't be if you're downloading/streaming content

    Check out T mobile.
I think they have an FUP of 3 or 5GB however if you go over this, theres no charge, they just put a cap on your speeds during peak hours.

    Cool thanks!

Do you know which is the fastest/best deal to go for? I'm thinking 3, I'm also thinking this may be wrong place to post this. Cheers
  • HSDPA is the fastest your likely to get in this country, and i think its all dependant on the device rather than the contract/sim card you get.

+1 for the t-mobile thing, to start with if you buy the dongle, you get internet for the month for what works out at £2, 30 days once its done its £15 for another 30 days, you get a 5-7gb allowance (i think)

speeds dont really make that much of a difference, you can download most things fairly quickly with a mobile dongle, but if you really want speed, you would need to get a broadband connection.

    good luck
