Try magicquote.co.uk, its an interesting concept that I came across last year. They ignore NCD, but if you crash, you are liable for £3000 (£1500 for females).

So if you are responsible, you should save a few grand, and if youre a nutter, start saving up!

Oh and ignore completely unhelpful "when i was a lad" answers, that stereotype you...............

Doesn't build a ncd to transfer to other insurers, and is part of Adrian Flux. Be interested to hear what prices were like though, and why Adrian Flux don't quote directly if you ask them for a quote.
"when I was a lad"......does that mean you think insurance has stayed the same in real terms?

I wasnt aware that they are part of adrian flux. But worth a try given the kind of quotes the Op is getting.

My comment on "when i was a lad" refers to the totally unhelpful comments the Op has received amounting to miserable MSE readers who have nothing better to do than criticise the Op for being young and stereotyping.

Whether insurance has remained constant in real terms is an irrelevance - being totally unhelpful, condescending and stereotypical to an Ops situation is my point.
