Compensation for Breach of Data Protection Act

My problem is with Natwest. Don't expect to get too much compensation as there is only a limit of about £250, from wot i have read and have been told.

Thanks dragon4life (not just for christmas eh ) - I already gathered that from the posts above though. More interested in MKY's bank as s/he did not mention it.

Unfortunately, as there are only 4 posts to MKY's name, I doubt I will get an answer soon. Was hoping it would be Santander though - because up until reading this thread I was looking at £100-300ea max then I read someone has got £700ea for a very similar issue. Was hoping against hope to get the case number to say, well you gave them this .
