You need a PDF reader to view PDF files

What program are you trying to open them with?
Most PC's have Adobe Reader installed on them, if not it's a free download.

If you used to be able to do this then it's possible that the file association in Windows has been changed. I'm on XP and if you right click the file and select "Open With" is Adobe Acrobat (or one of the other PDF readers) in the list? If so select it, and click the box that says "Always open with...".
