Keyboard symbols in caps wrong since HD change

Hi
Since changing the hard drive on our PC the symbols in caps are incorrect, e.g. @ is " and " is @, plus all the others. Does anyone have any idea if there is something we can do. Can't find anything on google.
Any help appreciated

did you reinstall windows ?? or just copy from the old Hard disk
you may have chosen English US instead of English UK
check you have it set right here
