Tesco Advent Calendar House & Other Advent Houses.

I love Advent Houses and Advent calendars with pockets and drawers and would love to see what other people have made or have found.
I know it's early, but ........ I thought I would start the ball rolling.....
I got my Tesco Advent Calendar House too late last year to do anything with it. They were pretty hard to find, as they sold out almost as soon as they were put on the shelves, but my sister managed to get me this one! It's cute .... but what had inspired me were other Tesco houses "done up" on crafting forums.
The calendars cost £5, which is A BRILLIANT BARGAIN

This is mine..... I finished it this morning ..

I think it took me about 30 hrs to complete. I've used scrapbook paper and glitter paper (sealing them the sparkle Modge Podge), braid, lace, star sequins, self adhesive numbers, lots of clear flat backed gems and other embellishments
I have e-mailed Tesco to see if they will be having them again this year, as they have had them in their shops for two years running, as I'd love to do another one.

Helen - It's brilliant.
Other people have made them out of stacked up matchboxes but this is so much sturdier and will last almost forever.
Well done you.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

I am keeping my fingers crossed they will be available this year - I have e-mailed Tesco and am hoping for a reply. But when I have the time I will try and search the internet for other advent houses that may be available and let you know where they are0
