A shoe box food appeal has been launched for the victims of the devestating floods in Pakistan.

Basically a shoe box filled with nutritional foods such as rice,lentils,tinned halaal foods,tinned fruit,tinned vegetables,pitta,naan bread packet chapattis,ambrosia rice,baby food,tea,sugar,biscuits,chocolate water purifying tablets,tin opener.

The boxes can be dropped off at collection points around lancashire
All alif storea are collecting mosques and castle mere community centre in Rochdale.

For further collection points please google asian sound radio and they are advertising the appeal throughout the day.

Even if you donate just one box it will go along way for helping a family to feed themselves.

Please can you give me a list of specific places where I can drop thinkgs off, also can we drop things off individually or do they need to be packed in boxes already?

Is there a deadline for this also?
